For accurate measurements using clamp-on current probes, degaussing and eliminating offset errors is critical. Degaussing and calibration buttons on the probe quickly and easily remove any residual magnetism and unwanted DC offset. The probe can be powered directly from the InfiniiVision and Infiniium AutoProbe interfaces (when measuring currents up to 15Apeak), or via an external AC adapter (when measuring currents up to 40Apeak).

The N7026A is ideal for capturing transient current signals such as those produced by high-frequency digital circuits, ICs, motor controllers, switching power supplies, inverters, and current amplifiers driving inductive loads.
