The N2884A InfiniiMax Differential Fine Wire Probe is a high-fidelity, high-bandwidth solution for probing active integrated circuits (ICs). It is targeted at R&D and test engineers who use oscilloscopes to debug and test ICs. The N2884A provides an innovative method of differential detection.

Leveraging Keysight's low-cost ZIF probe technology, the N2884A provides a flat frequency response across the entire 12 GHz bandwidth, significantly eliminating in-band resonances caused by distortion and loading effects that can affect the probe. While other solutions on the market typically measure the change in voltage as the distance from ground to detection point increases, the N2884A measures voltage versus adjacent local ground (or other node) on the device under test. This results in better common-mode noise rejection, resulting in excellent signal integrity in measurements.
