The N2851A QuickTip probe for InfiniiMax I/II is Keysight’s only probe that offers quick connect/disconnect capabilities when measuring multiple high-speed test points. The QuickTip design uses three small gold-plated magnets that act as the actual contacts for the gold-plated steel buttons on the probe. Engineers can install multiple N2849A QuickTip probes on the device under test to quickly and reliably measure multiple probe points.

The N2849A QuickTip probe is universal between the N2848A QuickTip probe for InfiniiMax III/III+ and the N2851A QuickTip probe for InfiniiMax I/II, so signals can be easily viewed regardless of probe architecture. The InfiniiMax 1169A probe amplifier and N2851A/N2849A QuickTip probes/probes allow you to achieve bandwidths up to 12 GHz. When using the QuickTip N2851A with an Infiniium oscilloscope, you need software version 5.30 or higher.
